Getting Started
Q: How do I register as a member ?
A: Registering with wideworlddirect.com.au will make your shopping experience easier and faster. Each time you login to WWD your email address and password will immediately connect you to your personal profile – "my account" - which includes all your relevant account information such as contact address, order history, bonus points information and newsletter subscription preferences. You may edit or update this information at any time. If you have saved your delivery address and credit card details in your previous orders, you can choose to clear all or some of that saved information if you wish.
All members are assured that their information is absolutely safe and confidential. For further details, please see our Privacy Policy.
Q: How can I sign up for your free e-newsletter ?
A: We encourage you to subscribe to our free e-newsletter so that you can be the first to receive news on our latest products and promotions and special event invitations. If you are already a WWD member just login to "my account", go to "edit profile", select "Yes" to the question "Would you like to receive the Wide World Direct newsletter?" and select your newsletter subscription preferences. If you are not a WWD member you can still subscribe to our e-newsletter by entering your email address in the appropriate field at our homepage.
You can always unsubscribe your e-newsletter at any time you like. If you choose to unsubscribe simply uncheck the appropriate boxes at "my account" or follow the instructions at the bottom of any email messages we send you.
Simple shopping step-by-step
Find your favourite products at wideworlddirect.com.au
1. Add those products to your shopping basket.
2. Click "check out" when you have finished shopping.
3. Register as a wideworlddirect.com.au member if you're a first-time customer. It is FREE!
4. Enter your delivery details and select the preferred shipping method.
5. Select preferred payment method.
6. Confirm your order and that’s it. It’s as simple as that.
My account
Q: Forgot my password. What do I do ?
A: Simply click on the "Forgot your password?" link on the Login page and we will email you the password hint (last 3 characters of your password). If you still cannot remember your password, please contact us to reset the password. A system-generated password will be sent to your email address. However, your account will be suspended if you attempt to login with the wrong password five consecutive times. Please contact us to reactivate your account.
Q: How can I change my email address or password ?
A: To change any of your details you need to:
1. Login to wideworlddirect "my account" (using the email address registered with us)
2. Click on "edit profile"
3. Overtype on the fields you would like to change and click "submit"
4. You will receive a verification email at your new email address. Please click the link in the email to activate your new email address.
Remember, if you've changed your email address or password, you'll need to use these the next time you log in. Please note that all your e-newsletter subscriptions and order confirmations will be sent to your new email address.
Q: How can I find out how many bonus points I have ?
A: To view your Bonus Points balance you need to:
Login to "my account". Your Bonus Points will be valid for 1 year from the date you registered with wideworlddirect.com.au and every year you start a new Bonus Points program valid for 1 year. The expiry date of your Bonus Points is shown on the "my "account" main page.
